Conformation Training Class (this class is primarily for practice stacking, gaiting and training the dogs)

 

Conformation competition is the showing a breed of dog and competing against the breed standard of the ideal specimen of the breed.

 

Conformation can be subjective per the judge's interpretation of the breed.

 

Some breeds are "stacked" on a table where others are "stacked" on the floor.  Proper gait per the breed standard is an important aspect of showing in conformation as is with some breeds proper grooming.

 

Conformation class is typically offered on Monday evenings at 7pm but subject to change per show schedules, holidays, weather and other factors.

 

Conformation class is a walk in $15 (more if paid online) per person who participates in class regardless of the time.  Each additional dog is $5. 

 

For those new to conformation individual sessions are recommended.
